I have recently bought a boat and need a new 90hp - 115hp motor. The 2002 model boat has fairly new Yamaha controls and I would like to know if it is possible to use the Yamaha controls on other brands of motors such as Mercury or Johnson. The Yamaha controls are already hooked up in the boat...
I have a 1990 40hp Evinrude manual tilt with a tilt assist cylinder. The problem is that it is stuck in one position. The tilt lever moves freely but the cylinder will not operate and the motor will not tilt. Any help you may have to offer will be appreciated.
