    HELP 97 volvo 5.7 can not time

    Hi new to sight installed new motor can not get timing to go below 22dg it is supposed to be around 8dg have the shunt tool but when i disconect the 4 prong plug on the dist the motor dies can anyone help me PLEASE thanks DZ :confused:

    Hi New to site i have a 97 four winns horizon 22 foot boat it has a 5.7 350 motor it has the TBI fuel injection i just replaced the motor to a brand knew 5.7 vortec motor old motor went south I am having trouble timing the motor the timing is set at 22dg to high it should be more like 8 or 10dg...
