I bought an old aluminum fishing boat that has a tiller type Minn Kota 4WD motor mounted on the bow with the use of a angle iron clamp on contraption.
It's difficult to raise and lower but managable but I have to run it in reverse, which has only 3 speeds, to make the boat go forward.

I bought a used boat that came with these manual downriggers. They seem simple enough to operate but I can't figure our how to adjust ( reset ) the depth guage on the side of the pulley. Any help would be most appreciated !
I'm servicing a used BF 8 Honda. The prop shaft and thrust washer don't have a trace of grease on them. My fishing partner insists that they should have just a thin coat of grease but I'm thinking I should pack them as full of grease as possible. What do you suggest .:rolleyes:
