Discovered cracked top plate on primer solnoid.Could this be part of the problem with motor shutting down? Also the solenoid does not have the 4-7ohms when checked with meter.Planned on replacing solenoid whether or not it contributed to my problem.
Regarding 225 johnson that shuts down.If I unplug red connector with engine running and it doesn't shut down, can I reconnect the connector witout causing any electrical damage?
