I PUT MY BOAT ON THE WATER TODAY AND IT RAN GREAT UNTIL I TRIED TO BRING IT IN. IT WOULD NOT IDLE.I KEPT TRYING TO START IT AND IT WOULD REV WAY UP AND THE IDLE WOULD NOT COME DOWN. WHEN I TRIED TO PUT IN GEAR AND GO IT WOULD KEEP STALLING.IT IS AN 1987. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.
The book says to fill the lower unit until iol comes out of the vent hole. Is that the top hole? It seems like it would take a gallon to fill it if that is the case.
