    Merc 1999 115 water flow

    Bought the Merc 115 and the water output or "pisser" flow was weak at low idle. I got the boat on plain and she seemed to have normal output. Once I throddled down the flow was weaker again. Is is a clog in the line? Water pump? Is that motor equiped with an overheat alarm? Thanks

    1999 Merc 115 painting question

    Question,,, the motor's trim and tilt fluid holder, the paint is bubbling and rusted underneath. What is the correct procedure to prep and paint this thing? Also any recommendations for a primer and paint make? Currently it isn't leaking.

    starter issue rude 150

    I just bought a new starter on a 89 rude! She was always a cranky start. The new starter turned it right over in my driveway three different times today. I bring her to the lake, then nothing. The starter would spin but not lift up why?

    1989 RUDE XP150 help starting

    I can't win with this engine. Recentley had a carb rebuild from an extremelly respected dealer. All pistons have between 110-115 compression. They had no problem starting it, and I believe them. They drove in the water!!! I just tried for an hour, couldn't get it to run. I've read the headaches...
