My fuel gage is reading at half full. To troubleshoot I took these actions...
-Removed sender from fuel tank and with the floatation device all the way down it still reads half full and up is a full tank. Replaced sender..same problem
-Replace fuel gage.. same problem
-Tested resistance at...
I have a 1990 yamaha cv55 2 stroke and I was out on the water yesterday and it ran great then on the way back to the dock i would not go past 5 mph even with the trottle fully engaged i checked the throttle cables and they seen fine.

I believe I am having an electric issue....My boat won't turn over when cranking the key. I checked the power on the starter with a volt ohm meter and it?s got juice, I do not know much else to check then that. Can anyone please give me some pointers on what to do next?

I appreciate any help I can get on this. First off, this is my first boat. I have a 1990 yamaha cv55 2 stroke and it is not peeing, I belive it is the water pump? is there anything else it could be? Where is it located in the motor? Can I fix this myself? HELP!!! Thanks
