    cable adjustment

    was wondering on my 1978 merc black max 150hp which way is the right way for strecthed outcables for my forward and reverse gears towards the front or the rear of the motor thanks in advance

    reverse problems

    I have a 1978 mercury black max 150hp.It acts like it wants to engage into reverse but slips out when I give it a little more throttle.I tried to adjust the cable today but havent had it in the water yet to find out if iI did good or not. Would like to know if I should have moved the adjusters...
