    4.3 Carb on a 3.0 Mercruiser

    Here's another one for... A guy I know is going to give me a deal on a recently rebuilt 4.3 carb for my 3.0 Mercruiser. The carb looks like it will physically fit, but I was wonder what your input would be? Do you think there would be any problems other than gas consumption? Thanks in advance!

    New Carb on Older Engine?

    I'm considering putting a replacement carb on my mercruiser 140, to avoid the hassle of the rebuild. Do you know if a newer 2003-2004 MerCarb will fit on a much older (1977) Mercruiser? Thanks!
