    87 pro v 150 hard to turn over

    I recently was running motor at wot and it died, the motor started back up with no problem. So I headed back to the ramp when it died again. I could not get it started, the battery was dead. I charged the battery, now the motor does'nt want to turn over easy, unless you take the spark plugs out...

    87 Pro v 150 spits at idle

    Motor a little hard to start but, once started will idle then spit and cut off but will start back up. Runs fine at mid and wot.

    87 prov 150 cuts off at idle

    motor spits at idle and cuts off but starts back up. It runs fine at mid and wot. Clymers manual says could be a reed valve.I would like to know how to check? Or could it be a carb&timing problem
