    hole shot problems with Merc

    My boat('82 Ranger 350V Merc 150 XR2) runs at around 5800 at WOT with a 19p stainless prop. With any other prop the boat won't plane. We've tried a 5 blade 23p prop,21,22,23,and the 19.     trim motor broke today help

    the switch on the throttle when pressed makes a light electrical ticking sound....and the trim button on the engine makes a crispy sound when held....is this the end of the trim motor? or could it possibly be a cylinoid(sp?) thanks

    installation. I will be puting it on an '82 350V and I am currently using a 24 volt troller and wanted to know what I need to do in order to run a 36 volt troller.
