Correct there is no AC panel and the “extension cord” is a flush mount waterproof housing 110v type outlet so i can plug in on the outside of the compartment vs directly into the inverter.

I have an older Mercruiser that i believed was a 3.0 but am second guessing now that i may be a 2.5. I cant find a good way to verify. The Valve cover has A654482 on it. I will try to locate sn on the block to verify thats correct. Thanks for any help.
