I have several bow rivets and the cap over the bow seam leaking. I also have leaks around the transom shield seam. This is an 18ft Starcraft aluminum hull.
Should I replace the rivets or use gluvit on the inside. What about the seams? Any thoughts on the best method?.

I posted my boat in the Starcraft area but it's turned into a restoration so I thought I'd post here.
The deck was shot and the rest of the interior was in rough shape so I started dismantling.
I recently acquired this boat to help on some graduate research I'm doing and it's turned into a bit of a project. The floor needs to be replaced and as long as I'm at it, I decided to do some minor restoration to it. I do have some questions about a couple of items.
