I was just given a 1968 Evenrude 100s Starlite. It looks to be clean and had no problem turning over but there is no spark. I don't have a clue where to start or if it's worth it. I was told that when it runs, the motor is great. Any advise?
Yesterday I was told that in the 70's the horsepower ratings changed. If that's the case, Why? Also, I have a '68 Evenrude 100s Starlite. What would the horsepower be by today's standards?
