I have a 1994 18ft Sea Ray with a Mercruiser 4.3L V6 (2bbl carb and thunderbolt ignition) and Alpha One Gen II outdrive.

Mercruiser 4.3L with an Alpha I outdrive stalls every time when put in gear. I replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Last season it only stalled when put in reverse. This season it is stalling in forward and reverse. It idles fine in neutral.
