My dt200 has been couphing and making what I thought was a ticking sound. Took it to a shop and was told that was an air sound and that my upper seal, the one right under the flywheel had gone bad. Have you ever experienced this?:confused:
It just started this season. Only at idle speed or slightly above. It has a slght ticking sound. And it couphs / sputters every so often.
The motor runs out fine. The plugs are all gapped correctly and I changed them last summer.

Changing out switch. This is of of a dt200. I have many siz pole switches avaialble. But this switch has the wires going into plastic so I can't tell.

All last year I had to turn the key very lightly. About 7/8ths of the way forward it would start. Sounds like a start switch problem. I can't seem to locate a replacement online. Do people fix / rebuild these things?
