    Carb problem

    Hi, I bought a 1949 Mercury five horse KF5 super 5. It is my first motor to play with. I took the carb off, and cleaned it. But I could not get the float to come up out of the float chamber. It will come up about five sixteenth of an inch, and stops. I don't want to pull on it and break...
