I have a 1960 Merc 400 that I believe was bored out and built for racing like they would a mini hydroplane boat. It seems to rev up decently when it's first in the water and the motor is cold. But then I can't seem to get it revved up to really run. I know the prop is big, but once on plane...
Hi Gang,
I've been working on getting an old Hydro Cycle water worthy again. The previous owners had some switches and buttons for starting and killing the motor. The buttons are completely shot, so I'd like to replace them using a similar idea. I'd like to have a main power button...

Any help...
Hello all!
I recently picked up this boat, condition is great for the age, 4.3 runs fantastic. But I’m having a hard time finding anything online about it. Downloaded an owners manual, but more interested in service books and capacities. I assume I should run 25-40 oil?
thanks for any help...
