I have a 16' tracker deep v with a 60hp mercury 4 stroke efi 1.83:1 gear ratio. The prop is a 10.6" with a 12 pitch 4 blade. Boat runs max speed 19 mph. My goal is max speed is this the wrong prop? This is the slowest boat I've ever owned.

I have a 89 70hp johnson that has been giving me intermittent stalling. It finally would not start so i have been testing stuff. It has spark but very weak. I suspect the power pack or stator but how can i test to make figure out which one, without a DVA.
