    Is there any other substitute for omc gasket sealing compound? Should you use lock-tite on lower end gearcase bolts?

    i had to cut the driveshaft to remove power head .can i remove the drive shaft from the lower end without removing the prop shaft. heed to install new driveshaft thanks .

    150 Evinrude Powerhead Removal, Pls Help?!

    I am trying to remove the powerhead for rebuild. The driveshaft spline is frozen in the crank shaft. Tried lower end removal, didn't work. Any ideas on freeing frozen spline?:eek: nightmare...!, thanks.

    runaway 150 evinrude not good

    first startup of season boot on good stream of water running about 1000 to 1500 rpm motor runs away to full thottle by itself . shut ignition still running shut batt switch still running pull all six plug wires still running for about 30 seconds. motor overheats and dies. this is a first for me...
