1985 merc 185 hp 229 cu in V-6. Couple of weeks ago (on the first run of the season) I noticed a rpm creep 'gain' on the tack...just acouple of hundred and it happened at 3500, 3000 and 2000. It would run up and then by itself drop back to it's starting position.

On the 2011 maiden voyage my 185 hp 229 cu in merc ran great.....started on the third try....yea...not bad for a 1985 model..... as the morning progressed the engine started to increase by about 200 rpms....say running at 3000 the engine would then just increase to 3200....then about 1 minute...
My rinker cuddy (20') has a combination red/green bow light. Light is burned out....I removed the two screws holding it down but only got to the incoming wire. Can anyone help me get into the actual light bulb area? Thanks.

I put some deep scratches (2) in my gel coat. While the whole hull needs to be detailed....I'm not ready for that....any suggestions on a good fix just to fill in the scratches? Thanks.
Just got an external speaker for my VHF. Need to connect the plus to plus and ground to ground...the speaker only has two wires moulded together...one has a white stripe on it...the other doesn't.....which one is hot? thanks.
