I purchased a boat with a 1990 60hp vro2 motor. When I bought it the seller gave me a power pack with it that he said was still good, now I believe the one on the motor is bad. My stupid question, is there a way to test the the other power pack while not hooked up?
So i have a 1990 60hp vro that wont fire. After reading some post/replies I started at the emergency kill switch and referenced Clymer manual. The manual said to pull the 5 wire connector to the power pack. I located the connector and it has the same configuration that the pic in the manual...
Motor was running fine all day, I had to back up in a shallow channel and ran into some muck. A few beeps came from the throttle lever and now the motor idles fine but bogs down when I try to go past 20 mph ?
On a 1990 60 hp VRO there is a brass plug/screw on the outside of each of the 3 carbs, are these just plugs or are they adjustments and if thet are adjustments what should they be turned out to?
