as of late im loosing spark. Then it comes back for a few trips then boom dead again? There is a little brown wire on to the side of the coil pack it is above where the spark plug wires attach. When it wont start I get a arch from that connection? the post looks like a small spark plug post?
I have a 1884 25 hp 2 stroke E25RLCRD I belive is the model its a long shaft rope/ele start. Can I get more out of it by putting a 30hp carb on it? Will it bolt up and work? It runs fine now but if I can squeak out a little more that would be great:D

noob question i have a 25hp i read somewhere it is the same power head as the 35hp just de-tuned? and that i can put a 35hp carb and time it for a 35hp ?
