    oil in the lower unit? I have no separate fill port/screw

    I have an 82 Mercruiser IO I an just dropped the lower unit to install a new impeller. I drained the oil out of the very bottom. After I put it together, I went to put oil back in the oil port near the top of the outdrive (port side) and it already seamed to have a lot of oil in it>...

    How to get lower unit/gear box back on??

    I have an 82 mercruiser IO and I replaced the impeller. But putting the bottom back on is a b!tch! What is the secret to lining it all up?
