    Mystery Cooling Problem - NEED HELP!

    HELP - Trim cylinder leaks around rod when going down after installing new seal kit!

    1989 Evinrude 40, TLCEC. Trim cylinder used to leak around rod when just sitting on water. Installed new seal kit. Works perfectly going up and will hold motor up overnight with no leaks but leaks going down. Any suggestions appreciated. Can't figure this one out!!

    Fuel all over water, high fuel consumption

    87' Volvo GM350, freshly rebuilt (professionally) Holley carb, new fuel pump w/correct spec, new plugs, fresh fuel in tanks, dumps quite a bit of fuel through exhasut into water. Can also smell fuel as you run. Also fuel consumption very high. Any suggestions appreciated.

    HELP - '89 DT 150SS idles to high

    Set idle to 7-800 in gear, when I pull back into neutral, motor runs up to 1,800-2,000 like it has an air leak somewhere. Adjusted idle air at 1 3/4 per manual. Motor runs great but really slams in gear at 2,000!! Any help appreciated.

    5.7 Merc motor dies under 1,500 RPM

    1996 Merc 5.7 starts fine but dies under 1,500 RPM. Starts back easily. Runs fantastic over 1,500 to WOT. Pull it back and it dies at 1,500. Does not sputter, back fire, bog etc., just simply dies. Any suggestions appreciated!!
