:confused:The mechanic here says he thinks that the engine is suffering from "blow by" but doesn't have time to evaluate for several months..... anyone else had this problem? Are we looking at needing a re-build?????
We have owned our 24ft pontoon for 3 years. The motor has always run great and been serviced regularly, until now. When it is out of the water it starts right up and the compression checks out. In the lake, you have to keep at full idle to even keep it on. It's also backfiring.... any idea...
