I have a 93 Bluewater Riviera 18' bowrider with 4.3 lx alpha one gen 2, and screwed up my prop on rocks. The thing is my prop is a power pitch pro shifting prop and replacement blades will run me $675. Also I have no idea which prop to pick because I have never had a normal prop on this boat...
I've read on how to remove the drive, but do i remove the shift cable at the unit above the engine and then slide all of that out with the drive? just a little confused with that part. drive is an 84 800
I'm wondering how fast my 18' 1983 sun runner OB 230 hp omc with stringer 800 drive should be going? Just a general ballpark as I would like to track down any gremlins she might have. I'm aware of a lot of variables but somebody has to have a clue?
I'm shure this is a stupid question but how do I shift my stringer out drive? Do I ease it into gear alowing it to click click click until it engages or just throw it into gear?
I just bought my first big boy boat, a1983 sun runner open bow with a 230hp omc. I have my grandpas old kicker, a 80's 4.5 johnson sea horse. Will this motor even move my boat? Looking to use it for trolling and as an emergency backup if the big motor dies.
I just bought my first "powerboat" and need some advise on how to repair a small hole and about a 3' long scratch on the hull. I've been doing some research online but does anyone have any pointers for me?
