Thanks for all the info folks, I know how to hook it up. I’m just looking for the correct location to physically screw it down. Should I make a bracket to attach it to the engine or mount it to the boat itself.
I meant where to physically mount it. It is a vane style pump, about the same size as the screw on fuel filter. Don’t want to just go poking screws into anything.
I have a ‘90 mercruiser 5.7. Replacing the mechanical fuel pump with a carter electric. Where is the best place to mount the new pump? 21.5ft Mariah. Any need for a prime circuit, as it n a timed circuit to run the pump before cranking. Thanks in advance.
1990 Mariah 5.7 Alpha One. When I got my boat earlier this year it didn’t have the brass spacer for the prop. I got one and installed and it slowed the boat down at least 10mph, is this normal?
