    Hard shift from Forward to Nuetral

    My motor is a 1962 Mercury 700. I'm hoping for an easy fix for this problem.(Although nothing is easy) It is a very hard shift form Forward to Nuetral. Nuetral to Reverse and back is fine. Any suggestions would be great.
