I changed out boards from a 1987 Johnson 225 to a 200 1996 johnson,but the tach is not working. when I power up the tach moves but I can't get any RPMS it stays at zero.
Any recommendations.
I have a 1987 225 Johnson. I'm looking to get a 2000 motor or later. To replace the 87, I need help on deciding which brand. I'm new to boating. When I change to a newer motor do I have to change the engine controls, and if so what else do I have to change. Need help!!!!!!!!!!!
i have 22' mako with a91-94 gt 200johnson, fuel tank 90 gallons when full have chage 2 coil and and all plugs hope to get above 4000 rpm a wot is this the best i will get? book say that 5000 - 6000 rpm is with a should get
