I have just bought a Larson dc-190 with a 175 H.P. mercruiser Alpha One 4.3 liter V6. When I plane with the trim in the down postion the boat lists to one side(passenger side). when the drive is trimmed up, the boat levels out. what could cause/fix this problem?
the boat was travelling fine at full throttle.<br />it then just slipped out of gear. for a short time we had reverse but now we have neither forward or reverse. i disconected the shifter cable at the engine and could not get it to engage a gear manually <br />either. any ideas?
engine starts fine and engages in foward/reverse but when you throttle up the motor only goes 1/4 speed. In netreul it rev up like it should. seems to be getting good spark and gas. suspect lower unit problems. any ideas?
