    Hi guy's,I bought a 75 Evinrude 15hp and this was attached to the power head, I've never seen anything like this,just curious if anyone knows what it is and what it's function is ? I've taken it off ,it was attached to a 4 or 5 pin connector,just curious that's all

    Hey all ,have a question, I removed the starter recoil to replace the rope, the recoil spring has unwound,how do it retention the spring,and keep it all together and be able to put the recoil assembly back in the motor?

    Ok , so there's no height adjustment on the shift rod,screw it until it's tight and turn sonits leaning fwd,and attach coupler and it's done?

    Hey guys ,I'm working on a 1974 Evinrude 9.9 ,seals carburetor kit ECT,I'm having trouble getting the lower unit back in and shifting properly,I've measured the shift rod height according to the manual,I tried this multiple times,is there something I'm not doing or what,any advice would be great

    Not exactly sure what you mean by 3 ear ? It has to lobes on it opposite each other,one side smooth and the other has grooves machined on the ears

    Hey guys ,got a question,I'm working on a 69 Johnson 20hp, resealing the gear case, I'm not sure which direction the clutch dog goes ,it's smooth on one side and the other side is grooved , meaning the face side that engages with the fwd and reverse gear, tried uploading pictures to no avail

    It runs better now ,idle is a lot smoother, definitely made a difference

    Because I've been having idling issues,have done everything under the sun,to rectify the situation, decided to look into the Reed's and they weren't seating properly, original one's from 71
