    I have a 1966 crosby sled with a 1971 Mercury 50 hp 500 the prop is a 10 1/2x 15p. The motor runs fine after rebuild and planes fine with just me in it.     runs great but feels like half throttle

    voltage block

    I have a 1971 mercury 500 all wiring been replaced, motor runs and idles fine. Did all tests for switchbox, rectifier, high and low coils and big coil pack, but for some reason when i hook my voltage meter up (one probe to cowl and other to block) I show voltage between 3 volts to 190 volts...
