I've got a '76 Crestliner which is perfect except for one 1/2 inch tear in the drivers side seat vinyl. The vinyl is orange...really hard to find these days. Is there a way to repair the tear, or at least a way to protect it so it doesn't spread further? I'd rather not do a duct-tape repair...
There's about 2 gals of 50:1 gas:oil left in a 6 gal tank I used for a small outboard, but I would like to use the tank for the Johnson 90 which has oil injection. Is there any harm in using up this gas/oil mix in the Johnson, knowing that I am running too much oil for a short time?
