    1977 85hp alarm

    I have a 1977 85hp evenrude on a 1977 avenger 16ft boat. last time I took the boat out the alarm sounded, so I shut the engine off. when I started it back up it did not sound. there was water flowing out the back holes and I only had the boat out for 5 min. do you know what could have triggerd...
