I have a sbc with 906 heads casting number 10239906. I know this is a popular casting but Ive aquired a set with the casting 13120906. Are these both the same heads? I just see no listings of this number at all and wasn't sure if someone has come across this.

I have a 1961 Merc 800 fgs. It needs new pistons. I measured the pistons to 2.737". Bore 2.748". I found a set but they say 2.750 standard. Are they saying the piston is for a standard 2.750 bore? Or is the piston actually 2.750? I might just be over thinking this but I also don't like...

Old 35hp outboard. Phelon magneto. I have no spark on the bottom cylinder. Swapped coils. Still bottom. Plugs. Same. Wires. Same. What else can be causing no spark on the bottom cylinder no matter what I put on it.?

Can you do this? I have a '63 35hp merc and I noticed the wiring harness does not have the prong for a tach. I wasn't sure if it can be run off the stator or add a kit maybe? Any help would be great. Thanks!
For my engine mercury has 4 different sizes for the jet. .071, .069, .067, and .065. They say the standard size is .069". My jet is damaged but I have the .065" jet here, will this make a major difference?
I'm looking for a mercontrol that pushes out when in forward and pulls in reverse. Pretty much the opposite of normal control boxes. Anyone know where i should be looking?
I'm attempting to reinstall the lower unit and both the upper and lower reverse lock cam are out of position. Can anyone tell me how they lineup?

I tried putting the lower end back onto my 35hp motor and im not sure if it will shift. The linkages are completely different from what im used to. Anyone know how these work? Its one of those "V" shift linkages i think?
