    225 HP Optimax

    Hello, I have a 2001 225HP optimax. I had a new powerhead put on it last year with only 112 hours of use. I have not used it for about two months, and want to take it out this week. Should I worry about the gas ? What else should I be concerned about ? Thanks Dan

    Merc 225 lost power & noisy

    I have a 2001 Mercury 225hp optimax. I took it out today and ran it on plane for about 30 sec. and lost some power. The motor also started making a metal to metal noise. Any ideas what this could be ? <br />Thanks

    Water leak back of motor

    I have a 1989 Johnson GT150. I noticed drops of water coming out of the back bottom of the motor under the cover. There is a large plate on the back with a gasket. I tightened some of the bolts and it slowed but did not stop. Is this something to worry about.<br />Thanks

    Wiring a new tach

    I have a 1989 GT150 Johnson. I need to run a new wire to the tach. Is it the grey wire that comes out of the regulator and goes to a wiring strip?
