    Bravo III strange noise...

    So, i was pushing the Bravo III out drive over to check my bellows... I had to bounce it over to get it to move, and heard a noise that sounded like something loose inside. Is there an anode behind the props that might have come loose?

    Alpha 1 rebuild?

    My brother brought me another Alpha 1 lower unit that he had from his boat, that i bought from him. The main gears are stripped out. I want to rebuild it, so that i will have a spair. Should i just replace the 2 main gears that are stripped out or buy the whole rebuild kit? Everything else...

    Another problem!

    Well... I went to drain the water out of the block on my 4.3. Got one out and guess what? Frickin stripped the allen head on the second one. :mad: Wish I would of changed them to brass before I put the motor back in the boat. I can't beleive how hard they are in there. Now i have to try...

    4.3 heads!

    I have the old heads off of my Merc. 4.3 that had a cracked block. Are they worth anyting? I checked on Ebay and there was a couple on the for less than $100. Really don't want to waste my time on that little money.
