    Is 1/2 in fuel line too big?

    Everything else is 1/4 in, but the main line coming from the quick connect to the engine to the bottom fuel pump is 1/2 in. would that make my boat run like crap?

    Ok I rebuilt the fuel pumps and having same problem

    1964 merc 650 4cyl. Would run good in water but the primer bulb would go soft causing it to sputter and die. So someone reccomended rebuilding pumps, so I did, 99.9 % they are rebuilt correctly.
