anyone got any tips for removing clutch assembly on this...looks like i have to take engine head off. and screws are in there good???....thanks for any help....:confused:
yea i got one of these bad boys....my problem is no thrust from motor when running in water.......298-586192..tanaka..no spun prop..can't happen...only has sheer pin no bearing on prop...prop shaft gear and pinon gear good .....drive shaft good...clutch housing, pads and springgs look great...
i have on old gamefisher[yea i know problems]......ran great till my dad gave it to me...said they hit a rock and to check it out......well i did...motor runs fine...throttle it up prop spins faster etc,,....so i put it in the water and no forward thrust....sheer pin? ,clutch to motor drive...

any one got ant ideas on how to fix stripped threads in plastic bracket that mounts motor to transom....can't even got the bolt off....i know i can buy new assembly for 28 bucks or so.......but maybe i should grind off bolt tap new bigger threads and get new bolt....where do you get these clamp...
