    hi there people the motor will eventually start after alot of trying when warm .always has started first kick since ive owned it (10years) its starts fine before a a good run ,im just stumped to were to look any suggestions would be great cheers dunc333

    has anyone ever heard of the impellor keyway being sucked up into motor before on a yami 70hp 2 stroke enduro.well this has happened keyway found in passage in exaust cover water galleries after motor over heated so we tookcover off found keyway so dropped leg opended pump housing and keyway...

    right thermostat 60 hp 4stroke efi 2004

    after working through overheat problems (it was the water tube grommet) now i see the thermostat needed for the motor is called a 120 does that mean it opens at 120F that would be 48.5C,the thermo i have which i tested opens at 60c is this correct for this motor or should i order the 120 themo...

    alarm 2004 60hp efi 4stroke

    the alarm is sounding at 3000rpm (continious beep) .i go back to neutral and alarm stops and good to go but not over 3000rpm or alarm sounds again.motor has good telltale stream and temp gauge is on 145f so my question is ,is it a overheat alarm or some thing else ,impellor changed 30hours ago...

    efi fuel lines

    hi guys on the merc 2002 to 2005 4strokes the fuel lines after the high pressure pump have these red connectors at the fuel filter and direction 4way disperser,are these 1 use only fuel lines or can you undo these red and black connectors clamps somehow and reuse and change the inline fuel...

    earth to fork

    60hp merc 4stroke efi,i have just installed trim gauge sender unit for the first time on this motor anyway i have found that the fork is not earthed to powerhead ,im asking should it be and where would earth wire be ? as sender unit has the neg wire earthing to fork can anyone help on this 1...

    leakdown test

    hi guys i have a 2004merc 60hpefi 4stroke and it makes a bit of oil ,i have changed fuel pump diaphram and checked thermostat so how do i perform a leakdown test cheers .

    hi guys just had oil checked after 100hrs rebuild report says it has fuel dilution 3 x normal standard so i will change manual fuel pump diaphragm at back of rocker cover is there any thing else i should check i have done comp check and all 201 to 208psi its a 2004 model and have read on fourms...
