    Gunwhales

    I am trying to find new aluminium gunwhale as mine are broken and the previous owner screwed on alum angle. Not pretty and catches my fly line all the time. Any suggestions as to where to find said extrusions. Thanks Dan

    Trim limit swich location?

    I have a mercury 150 1982, I would like to know where the trim limit switch is located. The trim goes down fine but not up. The switch is good and if I bypass the solenoid it goes up fine. Thanks Dan

    Mercury to Johnson

    Hi my question of the day is, does a 1985 Johnson 70hp have the same bolt pattern for the transom as a 1980 Mercury 150hp. I picked up an 16ft Sangster and it has the 150 on it! Boat is placarded with 85 Max. Besides I am partial to Johnson.:D

    Swapping a Mercury to an Evinrude.

    Hi my question is I have a chance to pick up a 16ft boat with an 80 HP Mercury on it. I want to put my Evinrude 70HP on it. Are the bolt patterns the same or am I looking at swiss cheese transom. Thanks Dan

    Weight of an Evinrude 70HP

    Any body know the weight of an Evinrude 70HP as my 50HP Evinrude has a toasty piston and a cracked block. My 50 weighs 180lbs and I need to know if my 14FT boat will take the extra weight. Thanks Dan
