    Every now and then I see my volt meter move up from 14 to 16. It stays there for a minute or so and then goes back to 14. It has just started doing that. Could it be a battery problem? Thanks in advance for any info.

    I already have the block bored and new wiseco forged pistons but I saw that one of the reed valves is cracked. What kind should I order and where? I have to order the seals, bearings and gaskets also but they seem to be more available.

    Where all is the serial number listed?

    I bought a 1996 boat and mercury 150 offshore motor. Where is the serial # on the motor? I see a place on the main mount that maybe something was removed and it has void written all over it. I hope this is not the only identification on the motor.
