i was told on the motor that the **** tube is made of copper tubing and that if it gets kinked then the head has to be pulled off to fix it which is like a 3 hour job at 70 bucks an hour labor... does this seem right? supposedly the water pump is new and i was told that when the previous owner...
since there is no **** hole on a 1970 9.5 evinrude its hard to tell if it is running hot, halfway up the lower unit there is water spraying out of itall the way around, is this normal? is that how it cools if it has no **** hole?
i have a 1970 9.5 horse evinrude sportwin, i beleive it is overheating i dont know where the **** tube is to see if it is clogged, do i have to remove lower unit? it supposedly has new waterpump...
