    I have a 1988 ski cat with fiberglass toons. How do you tell if its gel coat on them? I am wanting to paint them and can ,I paint them any color and what do I paint them with and how is the best way. I can be at lake all day and I will get maybe three or four cups of water out of the toons...

    I am new to boating and I just bought a pontoon that is fiberglass. It has some spots to repair in the right toon and was seeing about using carbon fiber instead of fiberglass. I found some kits for it. I kknow it is stronger but will it work?

    tach inop

    Evinrude 150 tslcca engine. How and where is the rectifier on this. How can I check the tach.. WHen engine off and no power the needle is setting at 1000rpm. When you turn key on the needle goes down to zero and doesn't move. New to this and need some help. Thanks.

    getting out of the water on wakeboard.

    What is the easiest way to get out of the water. If you go slow you can't get up and to fast fall forward. He seems to be crunched into a ball when starting out. Should he open up more like on skis?

    fiberglass toons.

    I am going to repair some cracks on the toons and I am needing to know where is a good place to get gel coat to go on this. I am wanting to go with red. I have some places that have been repaired and the ends have come up. Should I sand these down and put new patch over it? New boater thanks.

    evinrude 150xp prop

    Motor number is E150stlcca R1820727. What prop can I use on this engine? Right now it has a 17p. It is doing ok there are some nick on it but I want to get a new one and have a spare. Is there certain pitches I can use and what if I go with a 15p what will that do. New to all this thanks.

    I just bought this potoon and took it out for the first time. It has a evinrude 150 xp on it. All gauges work except for the tach. I checked the back of the tach to see if anything was loose and all was tight. When you first start it up the tach will jump up a little then go back to zero...
