i recently got my engine back in my boat after a long winter and i dont remember which spark plug wires from the distributor go where? my crappy manual doesn't even have a picture, can anyone help me out? and also does any one know where the 2 wires coming from the hydraulic trim motor attach?
i bought an 86 mercruiser 140 hp with an alpha 1 stern drive. i found 2 places for the freeze plugs on the port side of the engine but it still leaks from somewhere in the back cant quite seem to find the source yet, is there another plug in the back of the engine or is something leaking?
i just bought a 86 Fabuglas boat with a 3.o 140 hp mercruiser in the back. the last time it was registered was 99 so i assume it has been sitting for a while. So far i drained the old gas, and replaced the dist cap, points, and condenser. it has spark and will crank fine and it almost starts...
i have a late 50's Johnson seahorse 35 that i just bought. the service manual is in the mail but i just need to know the weight of gear oil that i am supposed to put in the lower unit?
I am trying to set the idle adjustments on my outboard, it wont stay running and for the time that it does it is not smooth at all. Any suggestions on how to tune the carb?
