    advance lever not where it should be,to get timing

    ahoy captains,as you can see in the pic ,i have the throttle at idle,and the idle screw is all the way back against the cylinder wall stop point.where it should be .how ever what i see with a timing light when runing in the water .is 8 degrees (after) tdc!when in the manual for a 135 ,1975...

    runs great! now!, just came back from water,135 ,1975 rude,she will idle great .and perfect all the way up into w.o.t.how evere the problem is when i start tilting her when idleing in gear shes starts coughing and spitting sorta and then getscoughs and a flame in clear pulse line and shuts off...

    remove choke plates, add fuel primer.75 135 rude.

    great site!,,i have removed my choke plates and added a enrichner or fuel primer solonoid.i had evrything running perfect till i did so.lol..she has a hardtime idleingnow , kind of pops and shuts it self off.in enclosed pics you can see where i now inject the fuel to prime between the carbs and...

    have spark when plugs are out!!!!
