I think you are right but I thought it could be fun to do it. The boat actually is aluminum but a mix, hull is aluminium but interior is fiber glass. Maybe I try and make a T top first. The boat has a driving cover but not optimal when you go alittle faster.
Perhaps I was unclear, it is my boat in the images. first two is how it is now and I am considering building a T top for it and or also to make it a Day cruiser as the sketches

It's winter here so I thought I draw some mods for my boat.
I figure I build a mould in 4 mm marine plywood and if it turns out good, I try to learn how to apply glassfiber.
What do you think who has some experience or feel free to comment if you think it looks like crap or not :-)...
