    i have a 1989 bass tracker tx17 with a evinrude 70 hp outboard. i have tilt only unit with 3 wires. i want to install a tilt and trim unit so my question is can i simply buy a 3 wire unit and put it in place of the tilt only unit? that sounds too easy so that is why im asking!!
