My 1968 Evinrude is needing some carb work, but as with most motors of this era, many parts have been replaced. On th iboats store there is a separate listing for the 1968 model carb kit than the rest of the 1954-1979(?) motors for some reason. Anybody know the difference in this one year...
Can't get it to go in gear now. Not running, still needing to remove and clean carb, just checking things out and it is stuck in neutral. Any suggestions?

I have only posted once here, so you know that I am new to the forum, but I am also new to outboards. I have a 1968 Evinrude 6hp 6802C Fisherman that I just rebuilt the ignition system on, but now am having problems getting fuel. I assume that it is the carb b/c it will fire on carb/choke...
1968 Evinrude 6hp fisherman 6802C. Need torque specs for flywheel nut, as my manual has been ordered but has not come in yet.
